DIRTY CHAI

For the coffee and chai lovers this is perfect for you. A dirty chai is an awesome combination of a chai latte plus a shot of coffee. It is absolutely perfect as a morning pick-me-up. It is smooth and creamy, fragrantly spiced, with a dark coffee flavour. Absolutely delicious.

The easiest way to make it is to make your usual chai latte, then add a shot of coffee. You can make a shot from a coffee machine, a pod machine or even buy it pre-made. One shot = 30ml of coffee. Coffee brings a bold rich flavour to the mix. Mixing coffee and tea might sound strange at first, but trust me, it is insanely good.

Gotta be honest though, this has a punch of caffeine, which can be very appealing to coffee drinkers, but not everyone. I think you can use this to your advantage. It is a great opponent for the normal coffee hit, with the combination of spices and black tea now in the mix. Caffeine lovers, this one is for you!

Our chai is made from real whole spices and has no added sugars or sweeteners. Honey or agave are great way to get rid of that bitter edge coffee sometimes has.

Also, another great idea is to use the same measurements but turn it into a chilled beverage. Pour it over ice or add everything to a blender and create a frappe version. Such a yummy idea for summer!

I find it has become a very popular cafe order, probably because it tastes like a yummy cinnamon latte. What a great way to spice up your morning beverage routine. Give it a chai!
