MASALA CHAI TEA
This is the fastest, easiest and most delicious masala chai tea you can make. It will only take one minute to prepare and it is full of tasty authentic spices.
Masala is an array of ground spices traditionally used in Sri Lankan and Indian cooking. Masala chai spices commonly include cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and star anise. Everyone uses their own combination of spices to they way they like it, but there is no “perfect” or “right” way.
In our chai concentrate you will find 100% organic black tea, sweet cinnamon quills, fresh ginger, green cardamom, black pepper to add a nice kick, cloves, bold star anise and Celtic sea salt. Our flavour is best described as warming and spicy with a peppery kick. When you sip it, you get that incredible soothing feeling in your tummy.
Chai tea is a great way to enjoy the delicious flavours but without the milk. We also find that the cinnamon and cloves make it sweet enough for most people to enjoy. However, if you are a sweet tooth I recommend using a teaspoon of honey or agave.
Our recipe is super easy. All you need is Liquid Chai, 230ml of boiling water and your favourite cup. The measurements are easy to change for your preferred strength, but I would start off with only 15ml of LC. The flavours seem to be extra bold and spicy without the milk. If it is too strong, add more water, if it isn’t flavourful enough, add more concentrate. Enjoy!
