Liquid Chai is a family-owned business proudly based on the Sunshine Coast. Our passion for chai started when our mum couldn’t find the perfect chai blend, so she took matters into her own hands and created a chai concentrate that delivers bold, spiced goodness. From that moment, Liquid Chai was born — a delicious, aromatic, and balanced blend of natural spices and organic tea, designed to bring the full flavours of masala chai straight to your cup.

A FAMILY AFFAIR

Our journey is truly a family affair. Founded by Naomi (mum), John (dad), and Billie (me), our business is built on the shared passion and dedication of our family. Each of us brings unique strengths to the table. My mum is the heart of our production, affectionately known as the ‘chai queen’, while my dad’s friendly demeanour and natural sales skills make him an ideal fit for engaging with customers (he loves to chat!). As for myself, I gravitate towards the digital realm, handling online operations, organisation, and numbers. Together, we form a well-rounded team, covering a wide spectrum of expertise and ensuring the success of Liquid Chai.

Our business has deep roots in the Sunshine Coast community, with our journey stemming from attending local markets. Every week, each member of our team eagerly sets up at these markets to connect with chai lovers, share our mum’s wonderful product, and foster meaningful connections with our customers. It’s the highlight of our week. We are immensely grateful to call this beautiful part of the country our home, and we genuinely believe it’s the best place in the world. SLOW BREW PROCESS

Crafting Liquid Chai is truly a labour of love. We believe that good things take time, which is why we use a slow brewing process to extract all the flavours from the whole spices and ensure you get everything you can out of our ingredients. There’s no waste, and this method ensures every cup is delicious.

Our Method: A Spice-Forward Chai

Small Batches: To ensure consistency and the highest quality, we brew all our chai in small batches.

Whole Spices and Ginger: We carefully brew the whole spices and fresh ginger for an entire day. This slow process allows the flavours to fully develop and infuse into every bottle of Liquid Chai.

Brief Tea Steeping: While the spices brew for an extended period, the organic tea is steeped for only a few minutes. This technique guarantees a balanced flavour profile, where the aromatic spices take centre stage, instead of a heavy tea flavour. While some chais focus on a stronger tea taste, we prefer ours to be packed with spice.
